Late last night as I finished working on products for my business, running through the house turning off lights and TV’s that had been left on. I heard this odd noise. It was a strange humming noise coming from upstairs. Could it be? Surely not! I was so excited to find that it was in fact the washing machine and dryer running simultaneously!!! Just then...my extremely worn out Asics were stuck! On what you might wonder...someone had "thrown away" a pudding cup (chocolate no less) and while intentions were there it really didn’t make it all in the trash can. So I stop and realize that I still have not had the time to go purchase a new pair of running shoes as I am crouched down on the hardwoods cleaning pudding!
"Honey, that was so wonderful of you to load the washer and dryer" I said...with a proud smile on his face as he take ownership that he did in fact do it and I did not have to ask! "Did you empty pockets?" I asked. "No" he replied.
Alas this morning as I swap the washer and dryer...I hit the jackpot! No not really I was paid handsomely with one curled up dollar bill and two pieces of weed eater string. Who said I do not get paid to clean?
